Ontario province is covered by the SPV "North America Railroad Atlas" volume Ontario.

Rail Operators

Regional services from Toronto to London, Windsor, and Niagara Falls, and between Sudbury and White River, are operated by VIA Rail.

Metrolinx is the province's transport planning authority for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area, with an extensive range of transit development projects under way.

GO Transit

GO Transit operates "regional" public transport services around Toronto, including passenger trains.

  • Infrastructure: see national details. Electrification of parts of the GO network is planned.
  • Map: System and Route Map includes schematic maps of the GO network: train + bus, and train only.
  • Journey Planner: Plan Your Trip.
  • Timetables: complete list. Note that many timetables are only buses, and train timetables include buses on the same route. In the timetables, train services have a shaded background; buses have a white background.
  • Disruptions: Service Updates shows real-time information.

Note that parts of some GO Transit routes are also used by VIA Rail services.
