Comprising three separate Cape Gauge lines:-
- North line (Luanda Railway) (CFL).
- Central line (Benguela Railway) (CFB).
- South Line (Moçâmedes Railway) (CFM).

A four line metro system is planned for Luanda [with yellow, red, blue and green lines], with construction of the first 60 km approved to start in 2025.

Future Changes
The first phase of the Luanda Surface Metro System (MSL) has been approved, for the capital Luanda, with construction of 60 km of the yellow line scheduled to start in 2025.
