A local passenger service is reported to operate over about 12km between San Pedro Sula and an industrial park at Bufalo.

Tourist railways

A 9km railway from the village of La Union takes tourists to the Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge. There is no known website for the Wildlife Refuge.
