Metro and light rail systems
The Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is operated by PT Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta (Perseroda). It has one metro line in operation but others are either under construction or planned.
The Greater Jakarta Light Rail Transit (LRT) line, which appears to be operated by a subsidiary of the national railway company, was due to open on 28 August 2023.
