Rail Operators
Regional services from Toronto to London, Windsor, and Niagara Falls are operated by VIA Rail.
Metrolinx is the province's transport planning authority for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area, with an extensive range of transit development projects under way.
GO Transit
GO Transit operates "regional" public transport services around Toronto, including passenger trains.
- Infrastructure: see national details. Electrification of parts of the GO network is planned.
- Map: System and Route Map includes schematic maps of the GO network: train + bus, and train only.
- Journey Planner: Plan Your Trip.
- Timetables: complete list. Note that many timetables are only buses, and train timetables include buses on the same route. In the timetables, train services have a shaded background; buses have a white background.

Note that parts of some GO Transit routes are also used by VIA Rail services.
UP Express
UP Express operates a dedicated airport shuttle between Toronto Union station and Pearson airport.

Ontario Northland
Ontario Northland (ON) operates rail and bus services in the north of Ontario state. The only passenger operation is the "Polar Bear Express" between Cochrane and Moosonee. It is planned to reintroduce passenger service south from Moosonee to Toronto.
