- PeruRail which operates over the former Ferrocarril del Sur (Peru Southern Railway) standard gauge line to Cusco. It also provides passenger services from Cusco over the 3 foot (914 mm) gauge Ferrocarril Santa Ana to Aguas Calientes.

Recent Changes
The first 5 km of Lima Metro line 2 opened on 21 December 2023 with a free service until April 2024.
Future Changes
FCCA is to host a commuter train service, over the 25 miles (40 km) between Desamparados station in central Lima and Chosica in the capital’s eastern suburbs, "later in 2025" using equipment withdrawn from service by California’s Caltrain. Further extension west to Callao on the Pacific coast is also envisaged.
