The only main-line services in Georgia are Amtrak long-distance trains: the Crescent Limited (New York - New Orleans), and Silver Service trains (New York - Florida).

MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) operates public transport in the Atlanta area, including two rail services:
