Metro and light rail systems
Atlanta
MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) operates public transport in the Atlanta area, including two rail services:
- rail: a conventional metro with four routes, linking the city centre with various suburbs. Two of these run well south of the city to the airport, one of the busiest in America
- Atlanta Streetcar: an on-street loop through central Atlanta

- Electrification: 750V DC ("rail": third-rail; "Streetcar": overhead)
- Rule of the road: right (Streetcar is single-track throughout)
