National Railway Operator

MTR Corporation operate services on Hong Kong's; Express Rail Link, Airport Express, Metro, Suburban and Light Rail Lines.

MTR Corporation also operate the Hong Kong Express Rail Link, which is the 19 mile [26 km] underground section of the 142 km Guangzhou – Shenzhen – Hong Kong Express Rail Link.

Tramway

Hong Kong Tramway runs on the north side of Hong Kong Island. It runs between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, with a branch circulating through Happy Valley and has a total length of 19 miles (30 km.).

Border Crossings

Hong Kong - China

(West Kowloon -) HK - Futian CN (-Shenzhen North)

This crossing opened with the new Hong Kong Express Rail Link line on 23 September 2018. Short haul, Long haul and Sleeper trains use this route.

(Hung Hom -) Low Wu HK - Shenzhen CN (-Guangzhou)

All Intercity through train routes by this crossing were permanently discontinued in In July 2020. Freight trains still use this crossing point.
