The only main-line service in Nebraska is an Amtrak long-distance train: the California Zephyr (Chicago - Emeryville, CA).

Omaha Zoo Railroad - The Omaha Zoo Railroad is a 2ft 6in (762 mm) tourist railroad located in the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium in Omaha, Nebraska.

A small streetcar system is planned for construction by Omaha Streetcar Authority. Operation is expected to begin in 2028. See also UrbanRail.
