Rail Operators
- AMTRAK - Two AMTRAK services cross Arizona from east to west
- The Southwest Chief - Runs from Los Angeles to Chicago, leaving California and calling at Kingman, Flagstaff and Winslow before entering New Mexico. See also Obscure and Sparse Passenger Services AZ3 and AZ4.
- The Sunset Limited Texas Eagle - Run as one train from Los Angeles to San Antonio, then to either Chicago or New Orleans. The train leaves California and calls at Yuma, Maricopa, Tucson and Benson before entering New Mexico. See also Obscure and Sparse Passenger Services AZ1.

- McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park - A 30-acre (12 ha) railroad park located in Scottsdale, Arizona. It features a 15 in (381 mm) gauge railroad and a 7 1⁄2 in (190.5 mm) gauge live steam railroad.
- Grand Canyon Railway - This has a single main line, from Williams northwards to Grand Canyon. The passenger service is oriented to tourism, usually consisting of one return trip from Williams to Grand Canyon each day. Map and times here. There are no schedules in PDF format. - Superstition Scenic Narrow Gauge Railroad - Located in the eastern suburbs of Phoenix, this is a 36 inch (914 mm) gauge railroad with a mile and a half of track.
- Verde Canyon Railroad - This is a heritage railroad running between Clarkdale and Perkinsville on 20 miles (32 km) of tracks of the Clarkdale Arizona Central Railroad (AZCR).

Phoenix
Valley Metro operates public transport in the Phoenix area, including two rail services. Both are modern light-rail lines:
- Valley Metro Rail: a largely segregated line linking Phoenix and Tempe
- Streetcar Line: an on-street line in central Tempe
