- California Zephyr. This is the Chicago to San Francisco service. It enters Nebraska from Creston, Iowa then calls Omaha, Lincoln, Hastings, Holdrege and McCook before exiting the state, next call Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Omaha Zoo Railroad - The Omaha Zoo Railroad is a 2ft 6in (762 mm) tourist railroad located in the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium in Omaha, Nebraska.

A small streetcar system is planned for construction by Omaha Streetcar Authority. Operation is expected to begin in 2028. See also UrbanRail.
