Tourist Lines
- Hawaiian Railway Society Operate trains for 6.5 miles from Ewa Beach to Kahe Point on Oahu Island. The gauge is 3 ft (914 mm).
- The Grove Farm Sugar Plantation Museum in Kauaʻi. Gauge 2ft 6in (762 mm)
- Kauaʻi Plantation Railway at Kilohana. The Kauaʻi Plantation Railway follows a 3-mile (4.8 km) loop through agricultural displays on the historic Kilohana estate and plantation. The Kauaʻi Plantation Railway is 3 ft (914 mm) gauge.
Metro and light rail systems
Honolulu
The first section of the HART (Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation) metro line - 17.7km from East Kapolei to Aloha Stadium - . opened to public traffic on 1 July 2023. The second phase - 8.3km from Aloha Stadium to Middle Street-Kalihi Transit Center - is expected to be operational in 2025.
