- Kauaʻi Plantation Railway at Kilohana. The Kauaʻi Plantation Railway follows a 3-mile (4.8 km) loop through agricultural displays on the historic Kilohana estate and plantation. The Kauaʻi Plantation Railway is 3 ft (914 mm) gauge.
Metro and light rail systems
Honolulu
The first section of the HART (Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation) metro line - 17.7km from East Kapolei to Aloha Stadium - . opened to public traffic on 1 July 2023. The second phase - 8.3km from Aloha Stadium to Middle Street-Kalihi Transit Center - is expected to be operational in 2025. map showing construction here.
